8,000 days. You may be wondering, "What's the significance?" As humans today face longer life expectancies than in decades past, adults could be facing roughly 20 years in retirement — or approximately 8,000 days.
Many of us look forward to retirement. We've worked hard, built businesses, dedicated ourselves to jobs to support our families — we've put in the time and we're ready to reap the rewards. For some, retirement dreams might include long days on the golf course. For others, afternoons spent with a trowel in the garden. However, 8,000 days is a long time, and it doesn't take long for retirees to realize that they can only play so many rounds of golf or plant so many flowers.
The Triada Advisors team is excited to host an upcoming MIT AgeLab seminar presented by Scott Stuckey, Regional Vice-President of The Hartford Funds. This in-person seminar will explore retirement not as one overarching time period, but rather as a four-phased concept: The Honeymoon Phase, the Big Decision Phase, the Navigating Longevity Phase, and the Solo Journey Phase. When we break down retirement this way, we are opened up to all of the exciting opportunities, as well as the complexities of this unique phase of life.
We hope you will join us for this seminar and dinner event on Thursday, May 5, at Chaminade College Preparatory School - The Skip Viragh Center.
Address: 425 S Lindbergh Blvd, Saint Louis, MO 63131.
The event will begin at 6:30pm and dinner will be served at 6:45 pm. Please RSVP here.
